 * Experience with object-oriented design principles.
 * Experience in Agile software development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Java development experience.
 * C# development experience.
 * REST API development experience.
 * OpenAPI familiarity.
 * Experience supporting Department of Defense programs.
 * Experience reverse engineering systems with limited documentation.
 * Google Test experience.

## Description

We are seeking experienced Software Engineers to support a critical modernization effort for a mission-focused maintenance application supporting defense operations. The ideal candidate will have strong C++ development experience, a background working with legacy applications, and the ability to independently analyze and modernize complex software systems with limited documentation., * Enhance and modernize large legacy C+ applications.

 * Migrate software from Solaris 32-bit environments to modern Linux/RHEL 64-bit platforms.
 * Analyze and maintain existing codebases with limited documentation.
 * Develop and maintain Oracle database integrations.
 * Create and enhance SQL queries, stored procedures, and business logic.
 * Perform unit testing using Google Test and adhere to software development standards.
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, PI planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
 * Collaborate with architects, developers, and product stakeholders to deliver modernization objectives.
 * Support integration efforts involving REST APIs and modern application interfaces.
