The candidate will participate in systems analysis, systems design, database design, and creation of an Autonomous Database (ADB) in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Contractor will be assigned to ITD s Human Capital Management (EMACS) team to partner with Human Resources and Oracle supporting the implementation of a new Human Capital Management (HCM) system., Work with the County resources and Oracle implementation team to create Autonomous Database (ADB) in the Oracle Cloud. - Ensure data integrity in Autonomous Database. - Help create and manage Golden Gate., OCI Cloud Database Services: Comprehensive knowledge of provisioning and managing Oracle Base Database Services (VMs/Bare Metal), Oracle Exadata Database Service, and Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP and ADW). - Cloud Architecture & Networking: Mastery over OCI-specific cloud configurations like Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), Security Lists, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Compartments, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) cloud policies. - Migration Frameworks: Expertise in transitioning legacy or on-premises databases to the cloud using Oracle Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM), Oracle Data Pump, or real-time replication via Oracle GoldenGate. - Automation & Orchestration: Proven capabilities in automation using Cloud SDKs, OCI CLI, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform or OCI Resource Manager. - Operating System: Strong knowledge of Windows environment. - Oracle Database Management: Proficiency in maintaining Oracle database versions 19c or higher. - Developer Collaboration: Work alongside application developers to construct primary storage structures and schema objects based on application design.
