Certificates and Licenses: * Completion of Harvard IT Academy specified foundational courses (or external equivalent) preferred. ## Description As an Enterprise Services Infrastructure Engineer, your role involves active contribution to the team, supporting, implementing, and optimizing critical IT infrastructure. You'll engage in hands-on work with cloud platforms, manage virtualization infrastructure, and oversee Windows Server environments. This role includes operational support, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement projects that support scalable system designs, solutions, and policies, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, and administer various software systems within the portfolio. Core Duties and Responsibilities: * Implement and manage enterprise cloud infrastructure, optimizing performance, cost, and scalability, ensuring compliance with security measures, and automating tasks for efficient management. * Oversee daily operations of the VMware virtualization infrastructure, managing ESXi hosts, vCenter, and related components, with in-depth knowledge of VMware ESX fundamentals. * Configure virtual machines, templates, clusters, and storage within the VMware environment, including the design and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure or AVD. * Install, configure, and manage Windows Server operating systems, handling updates, patches, and security configurations.
