 * 1-5 years of professional systems or software development experience

 * High attention to detail with a focus on quality and reliability

 * Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities

## Description

We are seeking a Systems Developer to design, build, and enhance systems through hands-on development, application design, system support, and the adoption of new technologies. Reporting to the Director of Development or Development Manager, this role partners closely with stakeholders across the organization to translate requirements into modern technical solutions.

What You'll Do:

 * Development & Implementation

 * Design, develop, and maintain system components, services, APIs, and integrations

 * Leverage AI tools for development efficiencies

 * Implement solutions that meet coding standards, and system design best practices

 * Design independently deployable services

 * Build and support distributed systems using modern programming languages and frameworks

 * Ensure system reliability through unit testing, monitoring, logging, error handling, and performance tuning

 * Collaboration

 * Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Infrastructure Team, and Business users

 * Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

 * Keep the team abreast of emerging technologies

 * Governance & Quality

 * Ensure systems meet security, privacy, and compliance standards

 * Support documentation, training, and operational readiness for systems developed

 * Participate in production support, incident response, and root-cause analysis
