## About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, with a focus on secure systems design and implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of system architecture, networking, and security principles., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

 * Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
 * Experience with system architecture design and implementation
 * Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
 * Experience with security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
 * Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
 * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
 * Strong communication and teamwork abilities, * Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, or CompTIA Security+
 * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
 * Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
 * Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools

Clearance Requirement:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required.

## Description

* Design and implement secure system architectures for complex IT environments
 * Evaluate and recommend system solutions to meet business requirements
 * Develop and maintain system documentation, including design specifications and operational procedures
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and ensure seamless operation
 * Conduct system performance tuning and optimization
 * Implement and manage system security measures, including access controls and encryption
 * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
 * Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
