* 5+ years of database administration experience, including hands-on support of Oracle and IBM DB2 environments.
 * Strong experience securing production and non-production database environments in enterprise settings.
 * Deep knowledge of Oracle database administration, security configuration, and access control.
 * Strong working knowledge of IBM DB2 administration and database security capabilities.
 * Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Safe, including:
 * Security assessments
 * User risk assessments
 * Sensitive data discovery
 * Data masking
 * Activity auditing
 * SQL Firewall policy management
 * Experience implementing and administering row-based and label-based security controls, including:
 * Oracle Virtual Private Database (VPD)
 * Oracle Label Security
 * Oracle Real Application Security
 * DB2 Row and Column Access Control (RCAC)
 * DB2 Label-Based Access Control (LBAC)
 * Experience managing database identity and access administration, including:
 * User provisioning and deprovisioning
 * Roles and privilege management
 * Grants and revokes
 * Profiles
 * Password and authentication policy enforcement
 * Proven experience conducting periodic access reviews, recertifications, and separation-of-duties controls.
 * Hands-on experience deploying and administering Imperva database security tools, such as:
 * Database Activity Monitoring (DAM)
 * Database firewall controls
 * Policy configuration
 * Alerting and blocking rules
 * Audit reporting
 * Strong understanding of least-privilege principles, database hardening, and audit/compliance readiness.

## Description

Security-focused Database Administrator responsible for protecting enterprise Oracle and IBM DB2 environments. This role owns database hardening, least-privilege access control, activity monitoring, and audit/compliance readiness across on-premises and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate blends deep DBA fundamentals with a security-first mindset and hands-on experience with database security tooling., * Administer and secure production and non-production Oracle and IBM DB2 databases, with security controls as a primary responsibility rather than an afterthought.

 * Manage Oracle Data Safe end to end: security assessments, user risk assessments, sensitive data discovery, data masking, activity auditing, and SQL Firewall policy management.
 * Design, implement, and maintain row-based access controls - Oracle Virtual Private Database (VPD), Oracle Label Security, and Real Application Security; DB2 Row and Column Access Control (RCAC) and Label-Based Access Control (LBAC).
 * Own user maintenance and access governance: account provisioning and deprovisioning, roles, privileges, grants/revokes, profiles, and password/authentication policies.
 * Conduct periodic access reviews and recertification; enforce separation of duties and least-privilege principles.
 * Deploy, configure, tune, and monitor Imperva (Database Activity Monitoring / Data Security Fabric / database firewall): policies, alerting, blocking rules, and audit reporting.
