## About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Low-Code Developer with strong expertise in OutSystems and a solid background in traditional programming (e.g., PHP). The primary objective of this role is to modernize existing systems by developing scalable low-code solutions while progressively phasing out legacy codebases. The role offers 2 days of remote working and only English is required., * Proven experience with OutSystems development (certification is a plus)

 * Strong background in traditional programming languages, particularly PHP
 * Experience in modernizing or migrating legacy systems to low-code platforms
 * Solid understanding of software architecture and integration patterns
 * Familiarity with APIs, databases, and system integrations
 * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
 * Excellent communication skills in a collaborative environment

## Description

* Design, develop, and deploy applications using the OutSystems platform
 * Analyze existing legacy systems (including PHP-based applications) and define migration strategies
 * Refactor or replace legacy code with efficient, maintainable low-code solutions
 * Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
 * Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications
 * Conduct testing, debugging, and optimization of applications
 * Maintain documentation for developed solutions and migration processes
 * Support continuous improvement of development practices and standards
