## About the Role

* Strong experience with AWS platform services
 * Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
 * Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
 * Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container technologies
 * Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions
 * Automation and scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell)
 * Good understanding of cloud security principles and controls
 * Experience with environment management and release processes
 * Strong Git and version control experience
 * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
 * Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Desirable Experience

 * Experience working within enterprise-scale cloud environments
 * Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies
 * Experience supporting highly available, business-critical platforms
 * Understanding of platform resilience, scaleability, and performance optimisation

## Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the delivery and operation of a modern AWS-based platform. This role will be instrumental in building and managing cloud environments, deployment pipelines, platform monitoring, and operational support across a complex technology landscape.

You'll work closely with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to drive automation, improve deployment processes, enhance platform reliability, and ensure secure, scaleable cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

 * Build, manage, and optimise AWS cloud environments
 * Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
 * Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines
 * Manage containerised applications using Kubernetes and Docker
 * Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
 * Automate operational tasks and infrastructure processes through scripting
 * Manage environments across development, testing, and production
 * Support cloud security initiatives and best practices
 * Coordinate and support release management activities
 * Maintain Git repositories and version control processes
 * Troubleshoot platform and deployment issues
