## About the Role

to constructively challenge ideas and concepts, and have experience in:* Working as part of a multi-disciplinary design team* Defining systems interfaces, boundaries and other external factors that would impact on design* Requirements Engineering (elicitation, decomposition and analysis)* Analysing the operational concepts of a systemIt would be beneficial if the candidate also has:* Experience of the decomposition of a systems design to sub-system level* Experience or knowledge of systems modelling techniques* Experience of analysing potential solutions against the key needs in a design brief* Experience of using design analysis techniques (trade-off analysis, calculations, modelling and simulation, etc.)This role will report to the Head of Discipline for Systems Engineering and the Engineering Delivery Manager for their project.**Security Clearance Requirement:**Due to the nature of the work that we do at Thales, many of our roles are subject to security restrictions. This
role requires Security Clearance (SC). It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance prior to commencing employment.To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
