## About the Role

* Ideally a degree or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline or an HND with relevant industry experience.
 * Experience in electronics/component testing.
 * Experience with Flying Probe Test, ATE and/or Probe Card Analysers is great but not essential.
 * Knowledge of PCB CAD/CAM data extraction and test-program generation.
 * Strong schematic and PCB layout interpretation skills.
 * Proven component-level fault finding and debugging experience.
 * Experience in NPI and high-mix/low-volume electronics manufacturing.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Knowledge of IPC standards and electronics manufacturing best practice.

## Description

Our electronics manufacturing client is looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join their engineering team, with a focus on PCB/PCBA Flying Probe Test (FPT) within a high-reliability ATE manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for developing and optimising test solutions, supporting production and resolving complex electronic test and manufacturing issues., * Develop, program and optimise Flying Probe Test (FPT) solutions.

 * Maximise test coverage across complex PCB assemblies.
 * Support ATE and Probe Card Analyser (PCA) systems.
 * Investigate and resolve faults through to component level.
 * Develop and maintain test programmes, procedures and controls.
 * Support NPI, production and quality investigations.
 * Identify improvements to test coverage, reliability and production performance.
 * Support the introduction of new test equipment and technologies.
 * Provide technical support and mentoring to production and junior engineering team members.
