## About the Role

+ Extensive experience in industrial automation, including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, industrial networking, and large-scale automation solution design and deployment.
 + Strong expertise in software-centric automation technologies, Industrial IoT, IT/OT convergence, industrial communication protocols, and modern development environments, with the ability to integrate new technologies into existing control systems.
 + Commercially minded with a strong understanding of the sales process and a proven ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value and business outcomes.
 + Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences.
 + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts and drive successful outcomes in challenging environments.
 + Experience with object-oriented programming, containerisation, virtualisation, Linux/Windows environments, and programming languages such as C/C++, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

Education:

 + Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
 + Relevant professional certifications in Industrial Automation, Control Systems, Software Development, Industrial Cybersecurity, Cloud Technologies, or Networking would be advantageous.

## Description

*

 + Lead, develop, and coach a team of technical and pre sales specialists, ensuring best practices, technical excellence, and alignment with EAE commercial strategy and technology roadmaps.
 + Support sales teams, customers, system integrators, OEMs, and partners throughout the full project lifecycle by designing solution architectures, demonstrations, and technical proposals that drive EAE adoption and business growth.
 + Act as the subject matter expert for EAE, providing advanced technical guidance, troubleshooting, and consultancy on automation, control systems, industrial software, and digital transformation solutions.
 + Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Global Business Units, Sales Leadership, customers, and partners, to align priorities, manage escalations, and drive successful market adoption.
 + Identify customer requirements, technical constraints, and integration opportunities, developing innovative solutions that deliver measurable value compared to conventional automation approaches.
