## About the Role

The ideal candidate will have skills in the following areas:

 * Confident client facing interpersonal skills.
 * Solid electrical and mechanical engineering background.
 * In depth technical knowledge of ICT concepts and design models.
 * In depth technical knowledge ICT Structured cabling, both copper fibre and blow fibre tubing.
 * In depth technical knowledge ICT active network design (core and access layer) and Wi Fi networks.
 * Coordination of architectural requirements (e.g. fixings, containment, rack equipment accommodation etc.) for ICT equipment installation. Technical room design.
 * Solid report writing skills, and ability to convey new concepts in visual forms such as flow charts and topologies.
 * Produce reports, specifications for tender, commissioning documentation and design notes.
 * Ability to create integrated data solutions, sketch out physical and data topologies, and understand their relationships.
 * Understanding of Edge and Cloud IT platforms.
 * BIM - Autodesk BIM 360
 * Revit/CAD / MS Visio / PowerPoint / MS OFFICE

Additional skills in the following areas would be an advantage:

 * Good basis of knowledge in physical and cyber security principles.
 * Understanding of IOT.
 * Understanding of Audiovisual principles., If shortlisted, one of our recruitment team will be in touch to arrange an introductory call (about 30 minutes) to discuss the role and your experience in more detail. From there, successful candidates will be invited to attend a panel interview, either via Microsoft Teams or in person at one of our offices.
