They are the fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles. * An experienced engineer, ideally within nuclear, or within a heavily regulated industry. * Experience of electrical & electronics design, justification, and safety case production of complex engineering systems. * A good understanding of fundamental engineering principles and able to make rational risk-based decisions using analysis, empirical data and engineering judgement and experience. * The ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and influence a broad range of stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver the business and project outcomes. * Be a challenging force to enable simplification and improvements to achieve business and programme outcomes. * Strong planning and organising skills to manage short-, medium- and long-term activities and deliverables. * Engineering degree in electrical and electronics, aerospace or equivalent STEM based degree with experience. * Known for challenging and positively disrupting the status quo to strategic benefit for customers/functions/partners/stakeholders & suppliers * Chartered Engineering Status (preferred) ## Description As the technical lead for the SSNA EC&I programme, you will be responsible for managing and governing the SSNA EC&I design, working closely with the EC&I design and whole plant teams.
