Qualifications for the Service Support Desk Operator and Receptionist * Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics * Additional customer service, administration or business support qualifications would be advantageous - Desirable Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. ## Description As a Service Support Desk Operator and Receptionist, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy defence training environment. Acting as the first point of contact for staff, visitors, customers and stakeholders, you'll combine service desk support with front-of-house responsibilities to ensure requests, enquiries and site access arrangements are handled efficiently and professionally. Day-to-day, you'll have an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service, administration and stakeholder management skills within a business that supports critical defence capability. You'll work within a collaborative team, gain exposure to a wide range of operational activities, and contribute directly to creating a safe, professional and welcoming environment. * Managing service requests, bookings, enquiries, complaints and fault reports through the Service Support Desk. * Responding to telephone, email and walk-in customer enquiries and accurately raising and updating cases. * Recording asset availability and maintaining service information in line with contractual requirements. * Welcoming visitors, completing security and access procedures, and issuing visitor and vehicle passes. * Coordinating with site hosts and stakeholders to ensure visitors are appropriately directed or escorted.
