## About the Role

* Strong C++ or Rust fundamentals with experience in low-latency, high-performance, or trading systems.
 * Experience building or contributing to an exchange, trading platform, market maker, or similar financial infrastructure.
 * Familiar with clearing and settlement workflows, particularly on-chain clearing for exchange systems.
 * Familiar with Solidity, EVM architecture, smart contracts, Layer 2s, and blockchain engineering.
 * Passionate about trading and able to think from a trader's perspective when designing systems.

Minimum full-time salary of $160,000-$220,000. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law. Full Time employees at Noise Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including equity and benefits, dependent on the position type.

## Description

* Build and optimize exchange infrastructure, matching systems, and low-latency trading components in C++.
 * Design systems for order routing, market data, risk, margin, liquidation, clearing, and derivatives trading.
 * Develop and integrate on-chain infrastructure, including on-chain clearing and settlement, using Solidity, EVM-compatible chains, and Layer 2 systems.
 * Work closely with traders to translate real trading workflows and market structure needs into exchange features.
 * Improve performance, reliability, and observability across both off-chain and on-chain systems.
