## About the Role

You'll use your extensive experience to efficiently deliver quality solutions to business requirements, being aware of platform costs and working to optimise those wherever possible without compromising operations. You'll be highly attuned to the customer, helping deliver a seamless reliable login and registration process whilst understanding the intricacies of operating across global platforms.

Highly collaborative and a team player, you'll work within robust testing processes which facilitate rapid delivery of high-quality software. You'll work consistently to uphold and raise the quality of team output through code reviews and feedback. Always focusing on delivering value to Games Workshop you'll identify technical debt and areas of process improvement.

You'll have experience of working in AWS, with AWS CDK and/or infrastructure as code, to develop secure and scalable systems that are architected according to the AWS Well-Architected Framework. You'll be accustomed to using techniques like Test Driven Development and Paired Programming to create secure and performant software.

We're looking for someone who has a positive outlook, regardless of setbacks with great adaptability to change, combined with an understanding of technologies such as TypeScript, GraphQL, AWS Technologies, GitHub, and Contentful.

## Description

Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity to join us as a Full Stack Engineer on a 18-month contract. In this role, you'll be part of a team delivering critical customer facing solutions for Games Workshop.

You'll spend time understanding the challenges you are trying to solve, creating high-quality solutions through collaboration with colleagues to ensure you deliver at pace. Working with other Developers and using a strong engineering process, you'll deliver new functionality and changes to our platforms ensuring solutions are reliable, secure and scalable for the Games Workshop business., If you're a Senior Level Cloud Developer who can rapidly deliver solutions to business problems using serverless and cloud-based application stacks and support the adoption of modern technical practices, this could be the position for you
