## About the Role

* Active TS/SCI clearance
 * B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
 * 3-6 years of experience developing backend systems using Java.
 * Experience with orchestration tools such as NiFi or Airflow.
 * Strong proficiency with Spring Boot/Micronaut.
 * Strong understanding of REST design and serialization formats.
 * Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
 * Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and containerization.
 * Ability to own feature-level delivery and collaborate across teams.

Additional Valuable Experience

 * Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures.
 * Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tooling.
 * Experience supporting defense/intelligence environments.

## Description

* Design and develop Java backend services using Spring Boot, Micronaut, or equivalent frameworks.
 * Build and maintain REST APIs and service integration layers.
 * Develop cloud-ready microservices supporting scalable mission workloads.
 * Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to model schemas and optimize query performance.
 * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and containerized deployment workflows.
 * Participate in architecture discussions and drive improvements in reliability and performance.
 * Troubleshoot issues across development and staging environments.
 * Document technical decisions and service specifications for internal stakeholders.
