## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Backend Engineer.
 * Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
 * Solid experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
 * Experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
 * Experience with Kafka or other event-driven messaging systems.
 * Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment and operational aspects.
 * Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
 * Ability to work independently in complex enterprise environments.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
 * Professional level of English.

Nice to Have

 * Experience with Angular.
 * Experience with Azure Event Hubs, IBM MQ or similar integration technologies.
 * Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
 * Knowledge of CI/CD practices and modern software engineering principles.
 * Experience mentoring developers or contributing to engineering best practices.

Technical Assessment

 * The process includes a 30-minute live coding exercise.
 * AI tools are not allowed, but documentation can be consulted.
 * The exercise will be provided through a GitHub repository with a simple README.

## Description

* Design, develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
 * Develop and evolve a microservices-based architecture supporting critical business processes.
 * Build and maintain REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
 * Work with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Azure Event Hubs and IBM MQ.
 * Contribute to the deployment, operation and maintenance of applications running on Docker and Kubernetes environments.
 * Collaborate closely with architects, product teams and other engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
 * Participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions.
 * Ensure high standards of software quality, performance, security and maintainability.
