## About the Role

* Experience with data center installations, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure projects
 * Familiarity with Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic cabling, and cable management best practices
 * Experience with rack-and-stack activities or hardware installations
 * Basic understanding of data center operations or IT support environments
 * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
 * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Physical Requirements

 * Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
 * Comfortable climbing ladders and working at varying heights
 * Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and walkways safely
 * Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical work throughout the shift

## Description

As a Data Center Installation Technician, you will play a critical role in building and deploying infrastructure that powers the cloud. Your responsibilities will include:

 * Installing and routing fiber optic and copper cabling throughout the data center
 * Patching and connecting cables between servers, switches, and network equipment
 * Labeling, organizing, and dressing cabling to industry standards
 * Racking and stacking servers, network devices, and supporting hardware
 * Supporting day-to-day installation and deployment activities within a new facility
 * Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
 * Working alongside experienced data center professionals to bring systems online
