Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Senior Software Engineer for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in the DMV area.

Looking for a Senior software engineer for a contract role. The firm is a leading regulatory authority, with multi-tier applications on the cloud (AWS). Successful candidates will be strong software developers with high-level knowledge Java fundamentals, Spring/Springboot, Python/Typescript, SQL, and AWS.

Responsibilities :

 * Work with product owners and architects to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
 * Develop solutions that are highly available, durable, scalable, and cost efficient.
 * Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community.
 * Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity.
