Related work experience includes line or substation field work, engineering experience, and military related or leadership experience. * Demonstrated past leadership in operational supervision or dispatching job duties. * Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to process information in a timely and accurate manner. * Ability to accurately perform analytical calculations such as voltage drops, transformer, and circuit loadings. * Knowledge of the equipment and principles involved in the operation of all components of the electrical system required. * Knowledge of FirstEnergy's information systems related to dispatching activities. * Knowledge of clearance and switching (lockout/tagout) procedures to remove and restore lines and electrical equipment while maintaining safety to employees (Manual of Operations). * Experience in the safe operation of electrical equipment and maintaining reliable and quality service to customers. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to conduct and present himself/herself in a professional manner. * Demonstrated knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel. * Must reside within an acceptable proximity of the reporting location due to job related requirements. ## Description This position directly oversees, mentors, and supports Regional Distribution System Operations personnel involved in the daily real-time activities at New Jersey's Distribution Control Center located in Holmdel NJ.
