## About the Role

* 5+ years of Project Management experience within utility infrastructure or related linear projects
 * Natural gas utility experience is preferred
 * Experience within electric, oil/pipeline, water, fiber, or other linear infrastructure will also be considered
 * Experience managing projects from design through construction
 * DOT, municipal, or utility relocation experience is highly preferred
 * Strong understanding of project scheduling, forecasting, cost controls, and financial tracking
 * Experience managing external engineers, contractors, and multiple project stakeholders
 * Comfortable reviewing engineering design and construction drawings
 * Strong Excel skills
 * Smartsheet experience preferred
 * Familiarity with MicroStation preferred
 * Ability to successfully manage multiple projects in different phases at the same time

## Description

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple utility relocation projects simultaneously through various stages of development.

When a DOT or municipal transportation project requires an existing utility to be relocated, you will help manage the process from the initial request through engineering/design, cost development, agency coordination, and ultimately construction.

Responsibilities include:

 * Manage multiple utility relocation projects in various phases simultaneously
 * Coordinate incoming relocation requests associated with DOT and municipal transportation projects
 * Engage and manage external engineering and design partners
 * Coordinate engineering designs, cost estimates, schedules, and project deliverables
 * Manage communication between internal stakeholders, engineers, contractors, DOT, and municipal agencies
 * Develop and maintain project schedules and forecasts
 * Track budgets, actual costs, and project variances
 * Review invoices and monitor overall project financial performance
 * Identify and mitigate project risks, schedule impacts, and cost issues
 * Maintain project dashboards, reporting, and documentation
 * Review and work with engineering design and construction drawings
 * Support projects through the transition from engineering/design into construction
