## Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a long-term contract opportunity based in New York, NY. This role supports a modern Microsoft-focused environment and combines hands-on technical problem solving with user-facing service for a wide range of infrastructure and endpoint needs. The position also offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to environment improvements, and strengthen overall support capabilities through technical leadership and mentorship., Deliver high-level technical support across infrastructure, desktop systems, and end-user computing environments, resolving complex issues efficiently.
Administer and troubleshoot Azure-based services, organizational user profiles, and Intune-managed devices to maintain stable operations.
Design, implement, and refine Microsoft policies and configuration standards to improve security, consistency, and device performance.
Work closely with the infrastructure team to address escalations, coordinate shared initiatives, and support ongoing technical projects.
Provide responsive, thorough assistance to executive-level users, ensuring a high-quality support experience and timely issue resolution.
Participate in testing, verification, and post-change validation activities related to infrastructure upgrades and environment updates.
Guide less experienced engineers through technical challenges, share best practices, and help raise the overall capability of the support team.
