## About the Role

* Some experience or coursework with Guidewire, Java, or GOSU programming is preferred.
 * Interest in learning Guidewire PolicyCenter and insurance technologies.
 * Understanding of software development basics and Agile methodology.
 * Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
 * Clear communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
 * Experience with automated testing tools (like GUnit or Selenium) is a plus but not required.
 * Guidewire certification or training is a bonus.

Note: This is a hybrid role; the candidate must reside within a 50-mile radius of our Coppell, TX office and be available to work on-site 3 days a week on a regular basis, as well as 2-3 times per month for team meetings and collaboration days.

## Description

* Assist in the development and maintenance of applications using Guidewire PolicyCenter.
 * Work with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
 * Help design, code, test, and debug software components with guidance from senior developers.
 * Participate in team meetings and collaborate on project deliverables.
 * Learn and apply industry best practices and internal standards.
 * Support system integration and configuration tasks as needed.
