## About the Role

Minimum of 6-8 years in cloud architecture and cloud strategy, technical project management, or technology consulting with a proven track record in leading IT implementation projects.

Proficient in designing cloud architectures, including requirements gathering, conceptual and technical architecture design, high availability and disaster recovery scenarios.
Domain on regulatory compliance for cloud deployments, cloud lock-in avoidance strategies and multi-cloud designs.
Knowledge on infrastructure automation, scalability and cloud components sizing.
Domain on any major CSP portfolio of XaaS services
AI & GenAI Fluency: Working knowledge of core LLM/GenAI concepts (large language models, embeddings, RAG, fine-tuning vs. prompting, agents, context windows).
Experience deploying and operating AI workloads in the cloud - model serving and inference (managed APIs and self-hosted/open-weight models), vector databases, GPU/compute sizing, and cost/latency trade-offs across providers.
Able to reason about AI and cloud architecture choices independent of a single hyperscaler's narrative - can compare AWS/Azure/GCP AI stacks and model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source) on technical merits.
Personal, hands-on use of an AI coding agent (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for real work.
Desirable Expertise
Familiarity with regulations and compliance standards relevant to cloud security and privacy (DORA, GDPR, NIS2) and data sovereignty strategies
Experience in developing and enforcing cloud governance policies to ensure cost management, security compliance, and resource optimization within the cloud environment.
Proficient in implementing cloud security strategies, including the use of tools for continuous monitoring and threat detection.
