## Description

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Technician to support the backbone of AWS's global cloud infrastructure. In this on-site role, you will install, configure, and maintain server and network hardware; perform break-fix and preventive maintenance; manage cabling, racking, and inventory; and respond to incidents to keep services highly available. You'll follow strict security, safety, and change-management procedures while collaborating with engineers to resolve issues. AWS's customer-obsessed, data-driven culture offers exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies, rapid skill growth, and impactful work at global scale., * Install, configure, and decommission server and network hardware in AWS data centers

 * Perform break-fix troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on infrastructure equipment
 * Execute preventive maintenance, health checks, and hardware lifecycle tasks
 * Manage rack layout, structured cabling, and cable labeling to AWS standards
 * Monitor systems, respond to alerts, and resolve incidents to minimize downtime
 * Follow security, safety, and change-management procedures and documentation
 * Track assets, inventory, and work in ticketing and documentation systems
 * Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve complex issues
 * Support on-call rotations and shift work to ensure 24/7 coverage
 * Contribute to continuous improvement of data center processes and standards
