## About the Role

Essential

 - Hands-on experience supporting production cloud environments in AWS

 - Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerised infrastructure

 - Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform

 - Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows and deployment automation

 - Scripting experience using Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar technologies

 - Strong understanding of cloud networking, systems administration and production operations

 - Experience responding to incidents and performing root cause analysis within distributed systems

 - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

 - Experience with Microsoft Azure

 - Experience using Terragrunt

 - Knowledge of GitOps methodologies

 - Experience with ArgoCD

 - Experience working within SaaS or software product organisations

 - Familiarity with Jira and Agile delivery environments

## Description

Supporting and operating mission-critical SaaS platforms hosted primarily in AWS

 - Maintaining highly available, secure and scalable cloud environments

 - Managing and improving Kubernetes-based infrastructure and containerised workloads

 - Building, enhancing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt

 - Improving observability, monitoring and alerting across cloud services

 - Supporting incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities

 - Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation through GitOps practices

 - Collaborating with engineering teams to improve platform resilience, performance and operational efficiency

 - Creating automation, tooling and runbooks that enable faster issue resolution and reduce operational overhead

 - Helping operationalise new products and services introduced through recent innovation and acquisition activity
