Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: * Master's degree, CCP, and/or SPHR certification. * Healthcare experience highly preferred. * Experience reviewing union contracts for compensation practices. * ERP implementation experience. ## Description * * Lead the strategy, development, administration, and ongoing evolution of Scripps' total compensation programs, including base pay and incentive compensation, to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with the organization's overall total rewards philosophy. * * Ensure compensation programs are fair, equitable, and consistently administered, with clear and effective communication strategies that promote employee and leader understanding, transparency, and confidence in Scripps' compensation practices. * * Partner with senior executive leadership and key stakeholders to proactively support Scripps' strategic priorities through the research, design, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of compensation and rewards programs. * * Provide strategic consultation and recommendations to senior executive management on complex compensation matters, including potential conflicts or inconsistencies with Scripps' total rewards philosophy, compensation strategy, and organizational objectives. * * Establish and maintain effective governance, processes, and systems that enable leaders, managers, and employees to effectively manage and understand total compensation programs within Scripps' non-unionized workforce environment. * * Provide strategic oversight of HR systems and data integrity, ensuring accurate, timely, secure, and reliable employee and compensation data.
