The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supporting the maintenance and enhancement of the chart of accounts, and assisting with the implementation of internal controls. The Finance Data Integrity Analyst will work closely with business process owners, subject matter experts, and campus leadership to clean and organize financial data, track data quality issues, and contribute to accounting process improvements., To provide support to the financial operations of the university by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of financial data, while contributing to process improvements and compliance with internal accounting policies., * Perform data analysis on financial chart of accounts data to ensure accuracy. * Identify, document, and track finance data quality issues. * Coordinate with business owners, subject matter experts, and campus representatives to clean existing data and upload new data. * Assist with the implementation of internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting. * Periodic reviews of accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to UT Accounting policies. * Assist with accounting clean-up efforts by identifying data attributes that are redundant or no longer needed. * Assist with documentation of the accounting chart of accounts and related business processes. * Contribute insights and recommendations to enhance data quality., The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length., Employees may be required to report violations of law under Title IX and the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act).
