A Final Post-Start Top Secret/SCI is required., * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement and 9+ years of work experience in a related field * 3 or more years of experience with program execution and/or technical leadership * Familiarity with satellite analysis, design, test, and/or operation * Experience leading engineering development teams and personnel * Expertise in Control Account Management (CAM) fundamentals such as scope definition, cost/schedule management, performance/EAC management, risk tracking, etc. * This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance is required post start. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): * 7 or more years of experience with program execution leadership * Experience as a Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for one or more satellite subsystems, and/or as a Systems Engineer leading a diverse technical team * Experience with Astrodynamics, Autonomy, Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC), Mission Analysis, Optics, and Flight Software * Understanding of execution methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.) and the ability to tailor them based on program needs * Experience balancing the needs of multiple programs and stakeholders in a resource and schedule constrained environment * Active U.S. TS/SCI clearance, This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required. ## Description As an Engineering IPT Lead, you will collaboratively manage the schedule, budget, and technical metrics for assigned control accounts. You will drive team execution for a broad cross-section of technical scope for one or more programs. These areas may include (but are not limited to) Bus, Payloads, Mission Engineering, Flight Software, etc. The position will require working with company and program management, multiple engineering teams, production, ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations), and our customers to deliver qualified subsystem products on time and on budget. Successful IPT Leads blend deep technical understanding of a diverse cross-functional engineering team with an ability to manage cost/schedule aspects and drive program success. You will work closely with your IPT Lead counterparts managing other areas of the satellite program(s) to ensure solutions meet needs at the program and mission level. This position is for an Engineering IPT Lead within the Flight & Controls (F&C) Engineering team. F&C consists of 5 distinct but related engineering teams: Astrodynamics, Autonomy, Guidance, Navigation, & Controls, Mission Analysis, and Optics. An IPT Lead within F&C can expect to manage scope for all 5 of these engineering teams, as well as potential scope from other areas including Flight Software and Mission Operations. The expectation for someone in this role is to develop high-level familiarity with the technical aspects of these areas in order to facilitate execution of the engineering work and deliver products., * Drive team execution (day to day) and execution of upcoming milestones * Proactively participate in risk processes by identifying issues and risks early.
