## Description

Join Guidewire as a Senior Software Engineer, Application Platform, and be part of the team building our next-generation platform. This platform provides the essential tools, services, and infrastructure that power modern insurance applications. You will be a key contributor on this platform, using AI coding tools to design and build core services that power developer experience, ensuring quality, scalability, and security. This is a senior, onsite, full-time role based in the United States.

You will play an important role in delivering operational excellence and transformative innovation for Guidewire's Product Development & Operations (PDO) organization. Our priorities include accelerating cloud and data platform adoption, and ensuring our solutions deliver measurable value and efficiency for customers. At Guidewire, you'll contribute to a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity, helping transform the way the world's P&C insurers do business., * Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Guidewire's application platform, primarily focusing on backend services but with flexibility to occasionally work with infrastructure and frontend.

 * Apply agentic coding tools and support Guidewire's effort to dramatically accelerate development.
 * Engineer for quality, scalability, availability, and security in every aspect of the platform.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient platform operations, supporting Guidewire's mission of operational excellence and transformative innovation.
 * Support and mentor junior engineers, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
