In addition, the candidate will understand the importance of institutional assessment and demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team., * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse academic environment. * Knowledge of data privacy, FERPA, and ethical data use standards in higher education., * Master's degree in data analytics, statistics, educational research, or a related field. * Professional experience in higher education or a data-focused environment. * Familiarity with Ellucian Banner/ODS or other higher education enterprise systems. * Demonstrated proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation. * Experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). ## Description Announcement is hereby made for a full-time (12-month), Specialist, Data Analyst position for the Spring 2027 semester in the Office of Planning and Institutional Effectiveness located on the Ammerman Campus in Selden. This position will support the Vice President for Planning and Institutional Effectiveness and is a direct report to the Associate Director for Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness and will provide support in the areas of institutional research, data analysis, and institutional effectiveness. This position will collaborate with a team of professionals to gather, analyze, distribute and communicate institutional data in a timely manner to assist the college in making data-informed decisions. This role is a key member of the college's institutional research team, providing expertise in support of data-driven planning, assessment, and strategic decision-making.
