## Description

As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software delivered across our programmes. Working within an agile environment, you will develop and maintain robust test automation while collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle. You will be comfortable working with minimal supervision, proactively identifying risks, and mentoring other testers to help build a culture of continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
 * Ensure software meets user requirements and performance expectations.
 * Produce, maintain, and evolve comprehensive, robust, and reliable test automation scripts in a CI/CD environment, sourced directly from business requirements.
 * Document defects, highlight risk, propose solutions, and monitor issues through to resolution.
 * Review requirements, define test conditions, and create manual and automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright.
 * Apply understanding of CI/CD approaches and tooling across AWS and Git.
 * Analyse situations to determine what's required to ensure UIs and APIs are tested successfully, including non-functional testing.
 * Work comfortably with technical and specialist stakeholders, acting as a facilitator to elicit information and escalate where needed.
 * Mentor testers and promote best practices in testing and quality assurance.
