This hands-on leader will oversee a team responsible for establishing a culture of data-driven decision making and creating business value through promoting the application of data analytics techniques across a broad range of business areas. They will regularly interact with key stakeholders to identify, develop, and deploy data analytics systems that are aligned to our strategic roadmap. The successful candidate must be entrepreneurial and a self-starter with the ability to challenge the status quo., * Implement the program-specific Data strategy that supports Enterprise Data Strategy * Build, mentor, and lead a highly performing team of data engineers and scientists * Implement Data Science practices for prescriptive, predictive, diagnostic, descriptive, and cognitive analytics through automation, storage elasticity, and on-demand self service provisioning of all data types and lifecycles * Proactively identify issues and inefficiencies within the business to develop and deploy solutions * Enable the adoption of data analysis methodologies across program operations for improved performance analysis * Establish and enforce data visualization and reporting standards to ensure consistency, accuracy and usability across the program * Support the monitoring and analysis of operational data to identify trends, issues and opportunities, and provide recommendations/solutions * Actively engage with program leaders and key stakeholders to identify and understand operational problems * Manage the data infrastructure, network, and system automation * Ensure common User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) are designed and developed across the program Our Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same.
