This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop workplace, customer service, organizational, and technical skills while supporting technology services across campus., Job duties may include: * Assist Information Technology staff with general office and administrative duties. * Greet students, employees, and visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. * Answer basic questions and direct technology-related requests to the appropriate staff member. * Help organize and maintain office records, equipment, and supplies. * Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and data entry. * Assist with organizing, setting up, and maintaining the Makerspace. * Help prepare technology equipment, materials, and workspaces for student or employee use. * Assist with basic technology projects and other Information Technology activities as assigned. * Learn and follow department procedures while handling equipment responsibly. * Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe office and technology work environment. * Other duties as assigned by department instructors and/or staff., This position takes place primarily in an office and technology support environment and may include work in the Makerspace or other campus technology areas. Student employees should be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting or moving computers, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Department Hours of Operation: * Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM * Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Student employees can work up to 20 hours per week.
