**Apply:** https://api.schoolspring.com/api/Jobs/5932313?domainName= ## About the Role * Associate's Degree or completion of 48 hours semester hours of college credits * Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills in English/Spanish, * Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms. * Requires the ability to speak before groups of people with poise, voice control and confidence. * Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of fingering, grasping, kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion. ## Description * Provides a variety of information to Title III families that includes, but is not limited to, the school's procedures, instructional programs, support programs, student code of conduct, and policies * Participates in a variety of meetings, workshops, and teams for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information as needed to support Title III families and school staff * Supports students in academic success and attendance * Participates in home visits as needed/assigned for the purpose of enhancing student success, increasing parent/legal guardian understanding, and ensuring the safety of students/personnel * Facilitates and supports Title III parental understanding of students' academic achievement and attendance as a means of dropout prevention * Provides information to parents about the resources available to them throughout the school system and community * Attends ESL, PLC, and school-level meetings and training sessions as requested * Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed/assigned for the purpose of assisting Title III families and assisting in the completion of program activities * Knowledge of computers, networking, and office practices. * High level of accuracy in data entry and management. * Administrative skills to interpret county and state policies governing enrollment/withdrawal, attendance, immunizations, and health records. * Communication skills with school personnel, students, parents, and outside agencies. * Microsoft Excel skills for data migration and manipulation, Word processing, Google Docs, and PowerSchool experience. * Uses discretion to structure tasks to meet expectations and prioritizes to meet deadlines. * Keeps information confidential. * Needs limited supervision and is able to work independently and as a part of a team. * Uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments independently without specific instructions. * Able to make decisions and solve problems with school data and information provided Must be able to: * Prepare, read, and comprehend a variety of job-related forms, reports, spreadsheets, maps, plans, records, documentation, and correspondence * Understand and conform to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style * Speak to individuals or groups of people with poise, voice control and confidence * Respond adequately to inquiries or complaints * Write using standard conventions in all languages required by the job * Apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions * Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagrammatic form * Communicate effectively and efficiently in all languages required by the job using whatever communication device or system is required (telephone, Braille) * Use/interpret job-related terminology, mathematical formulas, and functions effectively and efficiently * Deal with people beyond giving and receiving instructions * Perform under stress, deal with persons acting under stress, and adapt when confronted with emergency situations * Be sensitive to cultural differences among individuals and groups of persons * Operate/use a variety of automated office machines and other office equipment * Operate/use a variety of communication machines/equipment/devices * Operate/use a variety of job-specific machines/equipment * Work some evenings and weekends ## Related Videos -
