Candidates should be able to attend meetings at FAA facilities and other locations throughout the Continental United States (CONUS) as required., * Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, computer science, or a related field. * Minimum 4 years of demonstrable database administration and/or engineering experience in an enterprise environment. * Demonstrated ability to perform work closely related to the assigned tasks and work products. * Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. * Ability to work with sensitive, confidential, or regulated information and follow FAA and federal policies and procedures. * Ability to use FAA-issued accounts and Government-designated collaboration and task-tracking systems as required Preferred Qualifications: * FAA or federal database operations experience. * Experience supporting regulated, high-availability production environments. * Experience with cloud database modernization, NoSQL platforms, automation, and enterprise data warehouses. ## Description We are seeking a Database Engineer to administer and engineer production and non-production database platforms that underpin FAA enterprise data, applications, portals, analytics, and reporting services.
