## About the Role

* We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, and you do not need years of commercial experience.
 * You should have a genuine interest in technology and a desire to build a long-term career in IT.
 * You may have an IT-related degree, apprenticeship or qualification.
 * You may have previous experience in a Service Desk, Helpdesk or IT Support role.
 * You may have built or repaired your own PCs or laptops.
 * You may have experience gained through education, placements, volunteering or personal projects.
 * Ideally, you will have a good understanding of Microsoft Windows.
 * Ideally, you will have knowledge of PC and laptop hardware.
 * Ideally, you will have strong problem-solving skills.
 * Ideally, you will have excellent communication and customer service skills.
 * Ideally, you will have a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
 * A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.

## Description

* Provide IT support to users via phone, email and face-to-face.
 * Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, hardware and software issues.
 * Set up and configure new user devices.
 * Support Windows-based environments.
 * Assist with user account administration and access requests.
 * Escalate more complex technical issues where appropriate.
 * Maintain accurate records within the IT service desk system.
 * Support IT projects and technology rollouts across the business.
 * Occasionally travel to company sites if required.
