## About the Role

* Master's or Diplom degree in computer science, aerospace engineering or a similar field of study
 * At least three years of professional experience in embedded software development are required
 * Proven expertise in safety-critical standards, e.g. DO-178C, Real-Time Operating Systems, e.g. ARINC 653, and Integrated Modular Avionics, e.g. DO-297, is mandatory
 * Deep knowledge of low-level development, certification processes and relevant tools, such as Lauterbach Trace, Rulechecker, DOORS and Python, must be demonstrated
 * Knowledge of Virtual Engineering concepts, SCADE or automated model-based code generation tools as well as experience with agile frameworks and tools such as Jira and Confluence is a plus
 * Negotiation-level English skills are required; German language skills are nice to have
 * You are a team player with a reliable, careful and goal-oriented working style, very strong analytical thinking, high quality awareness and a structured approach to document-heavy workflows

## Description

* Architect, implement, integrate and test safety-critical platform software using C within an agile team
 * Drive low-level software development, including microprocessor bring-up, Board Support Package adaptation and hardware-software integration
 * Configure, develop and optimize Real-Time Operating Systems, e.g. ARINC 653, while ensuring strict time and space partitioning in multi-core environments
 * Author key lifecycle artifacts, including PSAC, SDP and SVP, and maintain 100% bidirectional requirements traceability
 * Define and execute end-to-end operational test scenarios using physical Multisystem Integration Test RIGs
