## About the Role

* Required: 2-5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
 * Required: 2+ years of benefits administration experience, including health, dental, vision, disability, leave administration, workers' compensation, enrollments, reconciliations, and employee support.
 * Experience using Paycom HRIS/payroll platform to process payroll, maintain employee data, generate reports, and troubleshoot system issues.
 * Strong understanding of payroll timelines, timekeeping practices, payroll deductions, benefit deductions, tax setup, garnishments, and compliance-related payroll documentation.
 * Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage confidential information with accuracy, discretion, and professionalism.
 * Ability to work under pressure, meet recurring payroll and benefits deadlines, and balance multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
 * Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook; comfortable learning and leveraging HR technology.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain payroll, benefits, and HRIS information clearly to employees and managers.
 * Resourceful problem solver with strong reasoning skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to providing an excellent internal customer experience.

## Description

* Process accurate and timely weekly and semi-monthly multi-state payroll, including payroll calculations, data entry, imports, adjustments, off-cycle payments, and payroll audits.
 * Serve as a subject matter resource for payroll and HRIS processes, ensuring employee data, earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefit deductions are maintained accurately.
 * Administer HRIS reporting, system maintenance, configuration support, updates, troubleshooting, audits, and HRIS-related projects.
 * Support benefits administration, including new hire enrollment, qualifying life events, open enrollment, carrier file feeds, monthly reconciliations, invoice review, and employee benefit questions.
 * Partner with employees, managers, headquarters, and distribution center teams to resolve payroll, benefits, leave of absence, disability, workers' compensation, and HRIS-related inquiries.
 * Maintain data integrity through regular audits, reporting, problem solving, data analysis, and compliance-focused review of payroll and benefit records.
 * Develop and deliver training for new employees and managers on HRIS functionality, payroll processes, policies, timekeeping, and benefits enrollment.
 * Identify opportunities to streamline payroll, benefits, and HRIS workflows; participate in process improvement initiatives independently and as part of a team.
 * Deliver responsive, professional, and high-quality service to internal customers while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
