This Design Engineer position is ideal for someone with a background in engineering and manufacturing who is eager to apply their knowledge in a hands-on environment., * 3+ Years of Design Engineering - preferred

 * Proficient experience with CAD software - AutoCad and ProE/Creo is preferred
 * Ability to read and understand blue prints
 * Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
 * Associate's degree or equivalent from technical school
 * Experience in plastics manufacturing - is a plus
 * Self-Motivated
 * Highly organized

## Description

* Creates and designs Company/Customer logos, stripe drawings and molding specification drawings
 * Reads publications, consults with sales and engineering to establish design concepts
 * Evaluates design ideas based on factors such as appealing appearance, design-function relationships, materials and methods engineering, application, and client specifications
 * Presents design to design committee and discusses need for modification and change
 * Prepares illustrations
 * Prepares or coordinates preparation of working drawings from sketches and design specifications
 * Designs products for custom applications
 * Be willing to perform other duties that may be outside your normal work functions as directed by management
