* BS or equivalent experience supporting network administration
 * General knowledge of networking with familiarity of patching cables and configuring network equipment.
 * Ability to lift 40lbs and climb 6' ladders
 * Strong teamwork and communication skills.
 * Ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects and meet target deadlines

## Description

The Network Installation Technician will be providing support to more senior network engineers onsite at Fairfax County., * Assisting Network Engineers in the deployment of new network equipment

 * Patching ethernet cables to patch panels and network switches
 * Removing old equipment and mount new equipment
 * Installing/configuring uninterruptable power supplies (UPS)
 * Additional duties as assigned.
