A successful candidate may also have: * Experience with managing a corporate backup solution. * Experience with capacity planning and performance monitoring techniques and tools. * Working knowledge of network performance monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds or Nagios. * Familiar with LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network) concepts and configurations such as routing, VPN (Virtual Private Network), and cabling. * Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends. ## Description The IT Server Administrator II will be responsible for monitoring on premise and cloud-based server environments. The position will also be responsible for maintaining a healthy and secure Active Directory environment, including connecting workstations to the company network and monitoring the network for any potential issues. This position is located in Livonia and is onsite Monday through Friday. As an IT Server Administrator II, you will: * Build, maintain and support both physical and virtual servers. * Validate corporate backups are executed weekly and assures they are restorable.
