## About the Role

* 3+ years of experience working with SQL and relational database management systems
 * 3+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering Platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake etc.
 * 3+ years of experience in on-prem Data Engineering Platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata etc.
 * Programming and modifying code in languages like SQL, Python, and PySpark to support and implement Cloud based and on-prem data warehousing services.
 * Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing
 * Hands-on experience with troubleshooting data issues
 * Hands-on experience with various performance improvement techniques
 * Willingness to identify and implement process improvements, and best practices as well as ability to take ownership to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment
 * Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with data platforms such as BigQuery, Teradata, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
 * Experience supporting healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or specialty pharmacy data environments.
 * Familiarity with real-time data integration, CDC (Change Data Capture), or event-driven data architectures.
 * Experience with workflow orchestration and automation tools.
 * Exposure to cloud migration initiatives and hybrid data architectures.
 * Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational support best practices.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.

## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team to design, build, robust and scalable solutions to support data-driven applications analytics and business intelligence solutions.

You will partner closely with business stakeholders, analysts, product teams, and fellow engineers to engineer scalable, cloud-native data pipelines. Leveraging the modern GCP data stack you will own the full data lifecycle - from data modeling and ETL/ELT development to performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
