Equivalent years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. * At least 5 years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist or similar. * Experience formulating a repeatable process for data evaluations and communicating findings to government officials. * In-depth knowledge of technical data types based on previous research and work with data sets of interest. Data types of interest include Technical Telemetry Data and other forms of telecommunication protocol data types, including cellular and wi-fi. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Must be a self-starter with excellent time-management skills and the ability to independently manage multiple concurrent tasks. * Must be experienced working in fast-paced environments. * Experience working with Software Engineers to provide feedback and validate the technical implementation for custom applications. * Experience working with a scripting language like Python, SQL, Spark, PySpark or similar. * Must be able to work on-site in Herndon, VA, with the ability to work in Springfield, VA as needed.
