## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods
 * 5+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
 * Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
 * Experience in software architecture or technical design leadership
 * Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
 * Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
 * Secret clearance
 * Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
 * Experience with Java, Python, C#, C/C++, Go, JavaScript, React, or NodeJS
 * Experience developing in Linux or Unix environments
 * Experience leading engineering teams or architectural strategy
 * Knowledge of modeling tools such as Cameo, SysML, UML, or similar
 * Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
 * Master's degree

Contingent Work Eligibility Requirements

 * U.S. citizen with currently active Interim Secret security clearance (or higher)

## Description

This position supports an established contract developing mission-critical operations. Our customer's framework continues to evolve. Evaluating, learning, and integrating new technologies will be a constant factor in this position. The responsibilities of this role include:

 * Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment
 * Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
 * Write well-designed, testable code
 * Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
 * Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
 * Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
 * Document and maintain software functionality
 * Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
 * Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
 * Comply with project plans and industry standards
 * Ensure software is updated with the latest features
