 * Experience reviewing technical designs, implementation approaches, and engineering deliverables.

Preferred

 * Experience with computer vision, imagery, LiDAR, or related large-scale image datasets.
 * Consulting experience in a client-facing environment.
 * Experience supporting enterprise modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

## Description

We are seeking a Lead Geospatial Data Engineer to provide technical leadership for enterprise-scale data and analytics initiatives involving geospatial, imagery, and cloud-based data platforms. This individual will serve as the technical lead responsible for guiding architecture decisions, reviewing implementation approaches, and ensuring high-quality delivery across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering expertise with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and executive stakeholders., * Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable cloud-based data solutions.

 * Provide technical oversight and code review for engineering teams to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability.
 * Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
 * Guide technical decision-making related to data ingestion, transformation, storage, and integration.
 * Support the development of solutions involving geospatial, imagery, and enterprise data platforms.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate tools, technologies, and implementation strategies.
 * Mentor engineers and establish engineering best practices across projects.
 * Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 * Participate in solution discovery, planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
