## About the Role

* Experience with data center load applications and load profiles
 * Experience with data center owner/operators
 * Experience with electric utilities processes and contracts
 * Experience with public utility-scale projects can be considered in lieu of data center experience, * Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
 * Minimum of 5 years related work experience
 * All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

## Description

* Continue building on knowledge to develop concepts and approach more complex engineering problems
 * Provide technical guidance over a group or supervise engineering staff on projects of low to medium complexity
 * Be responsible for developing, validating, and presenting specialist/technical output., * Reports directly to Director of Power & Grid Strategy
 * Performs generation and transmission capacity analyses to support infrastructure siting strategy
 * Prepares large load interconnection applications for submission to utilities
 * Maintains engagement with utilities to obtain project status updates and drive progress toward an executable energy supply agreement
 * Analyzes, summarizes, and communicates utility requirements, study results, agreements, and regulations to project team and leadership
 * Supports project team as a technical expert
 * Proficient in the use of industry software, such as PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD, TARA
