## About the Role

* At least five years of software engineering experience.
 * Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring.
 * Experience with object-relational mapping frameworks.
 * Experience building full-stack applications using React or a comparable frontend framework.
 * Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
 * Experience developing and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud services., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
 * Strong understanding of client-server communication, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
 * Knowledge of cloud-native development, stateless services, horizontal scaling, and observability.
 * Strong SQL and database development experience.
 * Ability to evaluate downstream impacts across interconnected systems.
 * Ability to solve complex technical problems with limited guidance.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

 * Experience with Spring Boot and related Spring projects.
 * Experience with AWS or another cloud platform.
 * Experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
 * Experience with Kafka, Amazon Kinesis, or Amazon SNS/SQS.
 * Experience in advertising technology or media-processing workflows.
 * Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Amazon Q Developer.

## Description

* Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications.
 * Lead medium- to large-scale features from design through production.
 * Contribute to service and system architecture decisions.
 * Develop production-ready code and participate in code and design reviews.
 * Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and engineering teams.
 * Improve application observability, performance, reliability, and resiliency.
 * Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
 * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
