## About the Role

* A degree (or equivalent) in Civil, Structural, or a related engineering discipline
 * Experience in precast or reinforced concrete design (industry or placement experience considered)
 * Strong CAD skills; experience with Tekla, AutoCAD, or similar
 * Knowledge of Eurocodes and relevant industry standards
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
 * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, This is a full time office based role, hence, candidates must have their own car and/or are willing to relocate in the area.

Your new role

As a Precast Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of a wide range of precast concrete solutions. You will work closely with internal engineering, production, and project management teams, as well as external consultants and contractors.

Your responsibilities will include:

 * Producing detailed precast concrete designs, drawings, and schedules
 * Carrying out structural analysis and ensuring designs comply with relevant codes and standards
 * Coordinating with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve design queries
 * Supporting manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production
 * Providing technical input throughout the project lifecycle, from concept through to installation
 * Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across design processes and product development

What you'll need to succeed
